Yes, the sound was a lot more raw in the early days. True of a lot of bands. Here's a bit of Grand Funk trivia for you - one of the original members, I forget which, was with a famous American one-hit wonder band called ? and the Mysterians who had a massive hit with a song called 96 Tears somewhere around '65 or '66.Originally posted by Tamerlin
