It's not funny, but it is mildly amusing. Pro-choice will kill the eggs/fetuses/unborn children, but won't eat the eggs/fetuses/unborn chickens. Get it?

I doubt Christ would approve of it.

      Why not?

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Unknown. Wouldn't "vegetarian who eats eggs" be more contradictory?

That would depend on the kind of vegitarian we are talking about, wouldn't it?

Why? Eggs aren't meat. A vegan who ate eggs would be contradictory, but not a vegetarian.

Oh, there's all that "turn the other cheek," forgiveness, non-violence stuff he rambles on about. Executing someone isn't turning the other cheek, nor exercising forgiveness.

Boris: There is nothing at all in the Bible against the Death Penalty. The closest you could possibly find is the Christian forgery in John 8:3-11.

                  Not really.

Directly, no...but Jesus's positions on violence, forgiveness and such indicate he would not support it. Even the OT says "Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord," albeit contradictorally to other OT passages.

Still, nothing in the NT leads me to believe Jesus would approve of capital punishment.

You'll have to wait until tonight if you truely want a serious discussion on that point. I'm about to go eat.
