I wpuld't mind being bi, I'm just not - I dont and have never found women attractive. If I did some day, I wouldn't mind, but I think it's pretty unlikely.

I think the poly mods are pretty American-right. I'm not sure about the majority of apolytoners - there aren't that many gay posters, tey just seem to get noticed more.

Unfortunately, there are some gays and lesbians who need to learn to walk the talk. They demand respect for their sexual orientation from heterosexuals, but then they turn around and make all kinds of lurid jokes about some "hot" heterosexuals, excessively teasing them that they're really gay or bisexual -- they just don't know it yet. In other words, not respecting the sexual orientation of heterosexual people.
There's a difference with a heterosexual taking a couple of light-hearted jokes in stride from a gay or lesbian friend, and a gay or lesbian not giving a heterosexual any respect.

Oh, that goes double with bisexuals -- gays and lesbians need to realize that bisexuals are not people who cannot make up their minds. That is their sexual orientation, period, so give them the same respect you demand from heterosexuals.

That's all for now, until Boddington says something outlandishly stupid again.

Well, I know what it means in these parts and all I've got to say is you'd better not run around kissing the ladies like that or you'll get into a lot of trouble. It's a good thing you're not a politician. The very idea of running around kissing babies' "old dogs" ...... oh man, it just boggles my mind.

I've picked this thread to 'come out'

I'm bi. In my time I've made it with both women and a lesbian, all before my 17th year was out.

I'm happy to report that the lesbo had such a wonderful experience with me that she's now straight as an arrow, and is somewhere in Germany pineing for her gallant soldier.

Ahh the US army, we conquer.

Nope, doesn't make much biological sense really. I could spend 50 years in jail and I'd still be straight.

Lancer -- a lesbian is a woman, so I don't know what you meant by saying, "both women and a lesbian."

And anyway, then that woman was really not a lesbian -- she was and maybe still, bisexual.

I'm bisexual to a limited degree - I can be attracted to some women and most men, but I've never slept with a woman. (I have had a woman running after me, though, and she was my cousin... hemmed in all both sides by the edicts of Moses.)

Of the Enixine household, three were men and one (myself) was a woman. Of these four, the American-Chinese girl and the American-Chinese guy had no problems talking about bisexuality and even curiosity. The two Yorkshire-born British men, however, were adamant that they were 100% straight, and one even went so far as to say that the Catholic faith was right to oppose homosexuality "because homosexuals are unhappy people" before Bing punched him. This then precipitated a drunken brawl that ended with one of the Yorkshire lads vomitting whilst being held up by his lapels by Bing, thus covering the unfortunate American-Chinese in half digested remnants of curry dinner.

                            ...

I am aware that I have digressed somewhat from the main topic of this thread but to summarize I have known heterosexual as well as homosexual desires in my lifetime.

Yeah well, we always knew that Lancastrian lads are tougher than Yorkshireans.
