It probably won't work, but not because of this reason. Do remember that mailing lists are passed around and merged, so if you can put lots of worthless address in the lists it adds up.Originally posted by Edan
I don't think it will work. How much more work/cost is it for spammers to spam another 50/100 non-working email addresses, anyway? probably not much, by my estimation.
The reason is spammers never use real return addresses. Most of the time, it is fake. Sometimes, it is the address of an open relay or similar 'Net computers. Bouncing stuff to a bad address will just cause you grief, because they'd bounce back to you.(\__/) 07/07/1937 - Never forget

this is a petition to do away with spam....Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
