We seem to be slipping, but I just can't be arsed doing another clickathon like earlier this evening...

We just need someone to bump this in about a months time, and the world will be ours!

ok, the first click was funny, the second was tedious and I didn't click a third time.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

just make a bot that goes slow enough to emulate human clicking. like once every 30 seconds.

distribute he bot to various apolytoners.

then make a central server with the locations of every land tile in it, have the client request a tile and go to the referrer page through apolyton's "goto" script.

have the central server keep track of where we are in the list, and cycle through when every tile has been claimed.

                  repeat indefinately.

if you have 30 people running the bot, you'd take over 60 tiles in a minute, 3,600 in an hour.

the map is 360x146, with ocean in between. the world is 3/4 ocean, so lets assume there are 13,140 land tiles. ~4 hours we conquer the world.

well, we'd lose tiles to other people, but we'd continually run it.

also, we may eb able to drop the timer to 15 or 20 seconds, doubling the output and halving the time.

yada yada yada i'm a good cheater.

                      • 30 seconds? 20 seconds?

I was clicking every couple seconds for about 5 minutes and it didn't care.

the hardest part would be avoiding the ocean tiles.

you'd probably be best off making a bot to run through every tile once, and recording which ones werent ocean.

then you'd have a map to start from

                            • Making bots, you would need to randomise the times somewhat. If they continuously get hits every _ seconds, they can probably flag that as a bot. With slightly different times, however, it will just appear to them as someone with no life.

                              • Randomizing the hits should be fairly easy just give it a range and a random number generator.
