Well che... Imran probably prefers white foam core bread to homemade bread. The foam core is probably just bland enough for him

You want bad pizza? Try England. The concept of pizza where I live doesn't really extend much beyond Pizza Huts or frozen pizzas from the supermarket. This isn't good pizza. It's barely tolerable pizza. It's a horrific abomination to the concept of pizza. I only survive on two thin threads of salvation:
1) There is a small place in town run by an old Italian couple that makes proper Italian food. Unfortunately, they don't do individual slices of pizza, so I mainly order calzones when I'm there.
2) The larger cities must have authentic and proper pizza. It's my bad luck for being stuck in a provincial town.
Oh, and the best pizza I've had was in Rome, Italy.Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

I eat Brownberry Stone Ground Wheat bread. It's intense. So is rye. So is any good bread compared to white bread. (Actually, I bake my own now because it's cheeper.)
Wheat bread is intense?
Wheat bread is blander than White! It's more of a moderate taste. It's all I eat, as a matter of fact.
And what is the most popular food in American? Hamburgers. Can you think of anything MORE bland than that?
Bland comes from the Latin 'blandus' which means caressing and flattering. It is moderate. Intense is extreme. I'm sorry, but when I want an 'extreme' pizza, I'll go for California style.
Speaking of which, I assume you all like California style pizza because it is more intense than Chicago style. After all, bland is worse right?Last edited by Imran Siddiqui; December 30, 2002, 18:24.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. SO when am I going to see you have spinich and potatoes on your pizza che and Ming? Hmmm, don't you want the 'intense' flavor?
Intense is good for somethings, but definetly NOT pizza!“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

But you don't need a fork and knife for New York style (well maybe two hands so when you pick up the crust, the rest of the pizza doesn't droop... of course you could always fold the crust part), so you can hold your beer at the same time .
In Atlanta I have to make due with Papa John's. But at least that's based on NY style .“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Papa Johns. Why don't you just say "Dominos is the best pizza ever," and leave it at that?I'm consitently stupid- Japher
I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Papa John's is ten time better than any chain pizza out there.
Dominoes sucks, Pizza Hut sucks, Uno's sucks. Papa John's is only decent chain pizza.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Your base of 'knowledge' regarding pizza revolves around national chains.
Um no... I specified pizza CHAINS because I was only refering to chains, because you really know about local NY pizzarias. DUH
I could tell you about Michealango's or Orlando's or (in Atlanta) Fellini's or Moe's, but like you'd know what I was talking about?
Use some sense, will ya?
You'll have to go to the original to get the real thing, it seems.
Sucks that you are so far from New York, then, doesn't it .“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

I HAVE been to NY, so don't leap to any conclusions. And I was quite underimpressed by what they called "pizza".I'm consitently stupid- Japher

You've been tainted by Chicago tastes .
A New York slice is the closest thing to heaven you'll ever taste, bub .“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
