          and I've been looking for Giger's art without naked body parts so I don't get banned.

          here's one. I doubt everyone will like this kind of artwork. Some will appreciate it, some will just reject it.

                      You're talking individual examples when I'm talking about the general practice. If someone says that covers and sampling are inherently bad then all I have to do is bring up one good example. I can find a number of artists that use strictly original material that are plain cr*p.

                        Innovative approaches to covers and sampling will be as successful as any innovative artistic approaches are. Derivative crap whether it is a cover, sampled music or "original" work is just that.

                          Ah yes, Jello Biafra nearly got imprisoned for including a piece of Giger's artwork with the album 'Frankenchrist'...quite an important trial...
