Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh

Why is Cuba so demonised by the US there are far worse countries in Cebtral and South America
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

          MRT, Not interested...

Point 1- In this example, because you started the ad hominems by calling people "stupid leftist".

Point 2- You do that in every debate you get into, so it seems you think it's always your turn.
Hehehe... it is always fez turn... nobody elses!

Please, I think we all can agree that there are some points in history when democratic rule just won't survive. I find it as difficult to choose here as anyone but I can see a point where a leader can responibly decide that strong leadership is a necessary evil. The only problem is few of them can ever see when that period is over.

I don't understand why everyone likes Pinochet. Chile was stable and prosperous compared to other SA countries before Pinochets rise. There is no reason to believe that his rise brought its current success about.

Because of the stupid Cuban refugee dummies who think Castro is the devil. They are probably rightists because leftists would stay in Cuba.

i agree with odin, cuban exiles must be killed without consideration for age. i hate cuban exiles more than any person because they represent everything i hate about people and in my opinion are more a threat to this nation than any other group of people on this planet

Oh my, thats some pretty harsh language. Never mind the fact that Cuba isn't really that nice of a place to live, probably with the significant help of the US embargo but also because Castro ain't no genius.

It's the Embargo that is making Cuba mad and is what those stupit refugees whant the most. The government is obliged to go with them for PC reason and they want the latinos on their side in the elections.

It is because of the Miami Cuban community that Bush is president of the United States.

How so? The embargo is quite porous and other countries trade with Cuba quite freely.
