Well done on the ones you got. Malagasy, Sorbian, indeed! Also close on both of the other ones, but not quite there.

Wow... you people are pretty amazing:
AV = Hittite. (Tau Ceti)
AY = Gothic. (Gangerolf)
BA = Oscan (Kitschum guessed Umbrian, but it's close enough)
BB = Old Church Slavonic (Kitschum again)
BD = Aramaic (Kitschum)
Here are the ones that no one has gotten yet:

And my guesses.... BE is Finno-Ugric (Lappish? Nenets?) and BF is a Romance-based creole.Last edited by ranskaldan; December 2, 2002, 18:15.Poor silly humans. I can narrow BE to Baltic-Finnic languages... I know it isn't Finnish, but since it seems so close to Estonian I thought it was Votian... and I'm sure it isn't Karelian either.
So I'll say BE = Livonian.You make my life and times

Correct on Veps.
BF is a romance-based creole. Perhaps asking you to spot the specific country is too tricky...
I might have to go one step futher and delve into tribal languages if I do another set.Världsstad - Dom lokala genrenas vän

Aixà com ho vols? Respongué ella tota eixerida. Jo el que només vull és que al eixir de la cambra no semblis una mena de nina petrificada tota estirada, representa que fas un paper no a tu mateixa fent un paper! Vinga! Intenta-ho de nou, que tothom et mira!
