Once again I'll go against the grain, and say that Flutie was a pretty good QB. As much as he was able, he rose to the occasion.

The Beloved Bears wouldn't know a quality QB if they saw one, and they never play an offense where a competent QB could thrive (well, except that one year with Kramer, Curtis Conway, and Engram).
Flutie was immature and not ready to be thrown into a playoff game when he was here, then became a star later. Harbaugh was terrible in Chicago, but later got Indy to the AFC championship game IIRC. McMahon was a winner but couldn't stay healthy after Walter left.
(Moment of silence for the greatest RB ever...)
We also had Hall of Famer George Blanda and cut him. He then played for, like, 20 years as kicker and backup QB for the Raiders, routinely winning key games in relief roles when their starters went down.
Prediction: Between Carson Palmer and Byron Leftwich, only one will be a quality NFL QB.

The Bears have had moderately good QBs since mcmahon, so I don't know what you guys are complaining about.
