Were you mugged in Las Vegas? Where?
I was working, and we got robbed. He ran in the door with gun drawn, and I just started screaming. I think my manager had that slowed down reaction because he jumped up and ran to the shot gun, but by the time he reached it the guy was standing right in front of him. You always have a disadvantage when surprised. It sucks. I'm just glad he wasn't one of those guys who gets off on killing people for no reason during robberies.

Hobbes should have been with me on September 11th then. He can certainly have that feeling all to himself next time!

Duh. THAT September 11. Sorry, thought you meant 2002.

Well, after 6000 years, we have to expect a few senior moments.

In light of my advanced years, I have no business to be posting in this thread, anyway!

I would like to go down in a hail of gunfire. I figure the pain would only last for a few seconds so that won't matter.

actually it was more of a home invasion than a mugging. But I feel embarrassed calling it that. I was a moron for opening the door on the guy. I thought it was a friend of a guy who was living with us. He has scummy looking friends. I feel so stupid for opening the door.

Unless its some hot chick I never open the door for strangers.

Although that got me in trouble. Because I opened the door for 2 hot teenage girls once. But it turned out they were jehovah's witness'

Before I die? Not sure. I'm not thinking about that yet.

Immediately before I die, however, I want to duct tape myself to the pope. I wonder what would happen...

To die? Skydive into the rotors on a news/traffic helicopter.

Hmm, a lot of these wishes seem a bit immature, although its fun to dream.

As all of us prematurely aged Polytons will tell you, your dreams will almost certainly never be fulfilled and as you age, you'll have to lower your ambition

I once dreamed of being a daring reporter travelling to unknown places and writing vast Webster-esque polemics on the state of society.

Instead I'm up at 7am trying to finish some copy on Paul Burrell. Fuck it!

Kids, life will betray you and one day you'll find your dreams are as empty as the life you're forced to live.

                            *bang*

                              uhh that's not very positive

I am a pessimist who tries to stay positive. Honest! That is how I live my life.

If I didn't have dreams I'd probably kill myself.

Bah, my dreams involve getting paid, getting fed and getting out of this shit rut of a life.
I only sincerely believe in the top 2 As I say, the longer life goes on, the more you realise how little control over your own destiny you really have.
