A state "crime" is whatever the elected state legislature says it is, so long as it doesn't expressly conflict with the Federal or state constitutions.

Oh and don't forget the nice little racket that the towing companies have going with the police. My husband was arrested for not having paid a ticket, and the state trooper called from the road to tell me they were towing the car. Aside from being a complete ***hole, he told me they were towing it, I said, "Why can't you leave it there? I'll be there in 20 minutes to pick it up." "Well, I can't just leave a car on the side of the road!" "Bull**** there are cars by the side of the road all over the place, and most of them aren't picked up in 20 minutes." Besides all the other money I threw into the government pit that day, we had to pay over a hundred dollars in towing and "storage" fees (it was there for about 2 hours while we got my stepmom from work because the car was registered in her name).

Cry me a river. Should have paid that ticket then, I guess, when it was due. How much would it have cost back then?

The police are oppressive because they don't care or don't know about our constitutional rights.

Where in the Constitution do you have the "right" to operate a motor vehicle on a public roadway at all? Let alone in violation of state statutes, whether relating to licensing, or exceeding the legal speed limit?

No offense, but this sounds more like "I can't do what I want so I'm gonna pitch a fit about the big bad government and the Constitution" cry-babyism than true Libertarianism. Or are they one and the same?
