Whale hunting is not a major environmental issue because the small amount that is done doesn't actually have an impact on the environment. Not being part of OPEC has given Norway and Russia much better economic relations with the U.S. than they would otherwise have. Plus they get cheaper bananas from us.

Two dogs today attacked and killed a six-year-old Albanian girl on the Greek island of Kithnos, police said.

The attack took place at dawn when the girl and her father were walking in the Aegean Sea island’s central town which is 90 kilometres (56 miles) south-east of Athens.

According to police, the little girl was playing a few steps behind her father when two wolfhounds attacked her. She died at the scene, police said. Her name was released.

Police captured the dogs, which were wearing collars, and are searching for their owner.
