    In regards to fighting "evil", As a Christian, I simply can't support any war at any cost. If we Americans worked to make amends with our Arab neighbors and worked toward absolute peace, I'm sure God would take care of the rest.
    Okay, for the record I think Chamberlain was probably a great and decent human being. But perhaps nations need right bastages for leaders instead.

    As far as being Christan, when my family was recently assaulted by three drugged up youths my response was such that a judge admonished me for "false imprisonment" (three counts ) and then told me that if he were me he might have acted the same way. God gave me two fists and a responsibility to stand up for myself and mine. I'll count on God to take care of stuff he hasn't prepared me to deal with, thank you very much.

        Britain didn't have to stop them. All she had to do was stand up to them, and provide the French with some metal for their back bone. The Chezchs and Poles prolly could have done the rest.

                    What the heck does any of this have to do with Neville Chmaberlain or al-Qaeda? I'll bet money that these murderers are of the home grown variety. This style of attack is completely unlike anything that Islamic terrorists have ever done. These guys aren't hitting high profile targets. The hypothetical profile offered by "notyoueither" probably comes close to being accurate. If anything this inident shows us the peril of offering "appeasement" to the NRA for so many years.

                        Grabted chamberlin is way off topic, But:

                        Fair enough he made mistakes however he wasn't a pacifist and he didn't start WW2.

                        There is a strong argument that he gave in at Munich to give Britain more time to be able to stand up to Germany later. The luftwaffe would have a field day aginst Glouster Gladiators.

                                I took our children to school (Montgomery County) this morning. There were two police cars outside each school, and parents were being used as crossing guards instead of kids. People are fairly stressed.
