  • about learning Greek, because you MUST it's your culture, your language and it's been around for longer than most things around you. it's a strong drive. I wouldnt take it well if my kid didnt speak greek (at least some )

I'd imagine the same principle applies to Greeks abroad about marrying Greeks (if what you say is true). Preserve the culture. :shrugs:

    • Dont tell me WASPS dont do the same when it comes to marriage. are they more americans?

isnt Tenet, your CIA chief american? he's greek (comes from greece)

the singer of red hot chili peppers
      or jenifer aniston(poulos)

and many others you propably know.

to become american you must abandon your culture? I thought cultural diversity is what makes us strong?

      • Excellent thread paiktis.

The only good Turks are dead Turks.

I had a discussion about the Turk's traits in PTW(Sceintific and industrious???!!!!!) in the Thread "Turks" by Tiberious.

All four of my opponents aparently abdicated in face of my arguments.

        • Che, there's nothing wrong with wanting to preserve your ethnic heritage. Is celebrating St. Patrick's day American?

Every culture has its own demons. The turks just happen to have more than most. But seriously paiktis, what's the point of constantly posting this stuff?

(I'm glad you excluded Serbians from the inferior slavs, or else I woulda had to smack you! )

of Armenia, today in Turkey, and a place where the Turks
met resistance in their action, stands a museum in which they claim that it were Armenians that were murdering the
Turks... Imagine that in a former synagogue Germans would
build a museum in which they claimed that it were Jews to murder Germans during the war...

And i don't blame you mongols for the conquest of Byzantium. I blame us and our failure to protect the Empire.

In 1821 we throwed of the Ottoman yoke, in 1921 we returned all the way back to Ankara.

It is called Constantinople, not Istanbul you savage.

And by the way an off-topic question.

What do you think of the Turkish traits in PTW?

I would suggest Millitaristic and Religious or Expansionist
Turkish millitary tradition left an impact on the Islamic world and all combat manuals were written in Turkish.

Heresson, exactly. Turks are monsters. Not really, They are "human", but their acts are monstrocities so it is the same.

They are responsiblie for genocide after genocide of millions, wont admit their attrocities whereas the whole world has seen them and they continue to massacre innocenty children and women, even today.

There only contribution to mankind is slaughter and devastation. A canceroma which must be cut.

There is no place for turkey in this world, especially not near us. It is just a matter of time.

I ain't getting into this blood feud between Greece and Turkey, but I still stand by my thoughts that mating is fun, regardless of religious, ethnic and/or national backgrounds. Then, 40 weeks later, you get to cuddle a tiny bundle of screaming, thrashing joy! (And that's where 18 years of on-and-off torture begin, too.)
