If you want to blast Turkey for what it is doing today, fine. Don't blast Turkey for the acts of Selim the Grim. Hell, the Ottoman Empire was multicultural. Every Sultan after Mehemt IV (Kosem's sons, herself a Greek slave girl) were part Greek. At least three of them were half Greek. After the third of Kosem's sons was Emperor, they were never more than half Turk.
