Okay, so here's the question. If the genocide was committed in the waning days of the Ottoman Empire and in the begining of the Turkish Republic, why are people protesting art from the begining of the Ottoman Empire? Hell, it's not like the Greeks never engaged in genocide.

The art of the Ottoman Empire is among the most beautiful ever created. They saved the Hagia Sophia. The Blue Mosque is probably the most beautiful mosque in the world. Your hatred of the Turks is insane.

Shi Huangdi, the cultural destruction of a people is also considered genocide. If you forcably turn Kurds into Turks, you are destroying a culture (though this is certainly perferably to simple extermination). The Turks have been attempting to genocide the Kurds by whiping out their villages, they language, they names, etc. This has only changed very recently.

You still suffer from the psychic self abuse of a conquered people. Don't worry. You will grow out of this infantile response in time and forge a relationship with Turkey without the dangers of antipathy.

Hatred is always greatest when the relations are the closest: I wonder how many Greeks can 'prove' they have to turkish blood in thier background?- I wonder how many Turks can prove they have no Greek blood? My guess, not many- you can live next to each other for almost 1000 years and not have gotten 'busy' with each other in all that time.

turks have some greek blood (very little, say a drop or two) from the jenissares, we have none.

and we didnt live together for so long.

those mogol savages came late to these parts.

yes you have, and so do bulgarians and serbs
you are all turk, not slav

                        croats are aryans

seriously, recent reseatrch shows that slavs never passed the river Sava, and that there is alot of anatolian (turkish) genotype in south balkans

almost none in croatia. we only fought the bastards (we love them now )

And your proof of this comes from what genetic study?

and we didnt live together for so long.

From at least 1072 many greek, if you trace your ancestry back to Byzanine times and before, where living under Turkish rule- hmmm, 930 years is not a long time?

those mogol savages came late to these parts.
You are leaving a lot out paiktis- are you assuming all the resident of Anatolia where greek before the Turkish conquest? What about non-greek peoples livng there, perhaps even before the Greeks ever went to Anatolia? What about population transfers by the multiple empires that held those lands, like the Persian and Roman, even the Macedonian one? The fact is Paiktis that I serioult doubt anyone in the part of the world can prove they are not some sort of 'mutt' unless they can prove that their ancestors have not been living in the area for centuries.

marriages were considered a sin with turks, so the only mixture is done by the jenissares, greek infants which were forcefully removed from the loving arms of their crying mothers to be raised as turkish soldiers (and even them they killed turks because such is the strength of the greek BLOOD!!!)

so turks have few greek blood, greeks have none.
