    So how are you celebrating the Palestinian independance day? (9/13)

    Today is the Palestinian independance day, I was reminded when I awoke from my sleep, following loud explosions and crackle.

    The Israeli-arabs in Haifa organized a mid-scale firework and firecrackers display that is lasting for several hours now.

    This day is celebrated by Israeli arab palestinans and by the Palestinains each year.

    What are you doing to celebrate the occassion?

          I hadn't even known it was palestinian independance day. Given the fact that i'm not palestinian by any definition of the word, I think i'll skip out on the celebrations (again) this year.

                      Did France celebrated Bastille's Day during the german occupation ?
                      Fireworks made by Israeli (ie bombing) are more impressive than those fired by Palestine, I bet.

                            They will unfortunately wont be able to call me an antisemite, since both Palestinians and Jewish are semites.
