My heart felt sympathy to anyone who lost during this tragedy...my hopes that we can deal with this rationally and justly."Chegitz, still angry about the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991?

I have topped this thread... Please use this thread as it was intended... While there are many different opinions on who is to blame... who is at fault... was it justified... the need for revenge... what type of revenge... whatever...
THIS ISN'T THE THREAD FOR IT!

My thoughts are with all those who lost loved ones as well.
But live your lives, people. That's the key: only in living can we defeat death--maybe not defeat it, but hold it at arm's length.
And only by being fearless can we keep away terror.
Do your thing...I'll be flying across the country on Thursday...aint no bad man gonna keep us down!
Life and death is a grave matter;
all things pass quickly away.
Each of you must be completely alert;
never neglectful, never indulgent.

Watching the WTC collapse live on television, and knowing that thousands of my fellow human beings had just died before my eyes isn't something I'll forget soon.12-17-10 Mohamed Bouazizi NEVER FORGET

Today my thoughts are with the families and friends of the victims of those horrible attacks. I hope you can pull through today and be even stronger when the day is over.Yeah, Moe, that team sure did suck last night. They just plain sucked! I've seen teams suck before, but they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.

It's been pretty tough seeing all the coverage today, there was a lot more than I thought there would be. I'll probably hang out with my woman tomorrow and avoid the TV. I teared up countless times last year as the family members of the dead were interviewed, stunned survivors looked desperately for the missing etc. It made me sad, and angry enough to lose touch with much of my logical side at times. I've seen enough already to remember those feelings and my resolve to destroy the enemy is strengthened enough to last the rest of my life.He's got the Midas touch.
But he touched it too much!

May God bless the lives of the people who suffered a great loss on 9/11. My sincerest sympathy goes out to the people who relive this tragedy every day and may, on this day especially, have to see the tragedy that so affected them replayed over and over again. I can only hope that legacy of those who died will promote positive change throughout the world. I long with you for the day that peace will reign on this earth.Visit my site at http://www.anduril.ca/

I sometimes see those images of the attack on the WTC, and even after a year they haven't lost a bit of their impact...I still get shivers when I see the explosion, the collapse, the city in dust and the ruins that remained...it was black day.
Next to the site where the WTC used to be there’s a church on the fence of which people, the families they left behind, friends, co-workers, sympathizers… have hung memorials, pictures, clothes with expressions of sympathy, flags and sometimes a drawing like this one

The most horrible sights for me were seeing those people who leaped from the towers ... the image that sticks with me a lot is the one where three or so office workers had linked hands and jumped together ... at least I think I'm remembering it right. Then they had footage captured by someone else ... and you could hear the awful *roar* of the second jet as it swept overhead and into the WTC. It just stuns me yet today ... that I watched hundreds of people die in that instant.
