Put a Patriot battery and some R2D2's on the roof, and you're all set.

What a damn bad idea. IMO.

BTW, the thread title wasn't sensored.

Sorry, don't have a picture, but in Cologne they constructed a building of 150 m height (not higher because the cathedral is 158m ) and a few weeks before 9-11 (nineth of november???) two planes were painted on the walls at about half height. Exactly the point where to hit. I don't particularly like the building.
Why doing it the easy way if it is possible to do it complicated?

i'm in favor of building them exactly as they were, to show resiliance (if not stubborness).

people are afraid it would happen again, and some people talked of regulations on skyscrapers. if the need be, 4 smaller showers would work too.

Can you imagine how much sunlight those towers would block out?

Perhaps four small towers and one large one, in the shape of a raised middle finger, would send the right message to the terrorists.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't it be facing America? What message does that send out?

Face it east, and slightly north, and then its facing out over the Atlantic and away from America. It would "unfortunately" be directed at France.

France is one big asylum, anyway.
