Do mexicans call their language mexican spanish.

    What is american english
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

It is standard english, which is similar to british english, except without those superfuous U's in words (like harbor), and with many of the words derived from french (like somber) modified to a more germanic spelling.

Ahh, I remember from school being taught that in America you spelt colour differently. From my point of view the difference is not relevant as my spelling is dreadful

                My spelling is the worst

When I was a lil lad my teachers told me I was brain damaged because I could not spell.

Now I am older I learn that it has more to do with memory than intellegents.

Just because we cannot spell dosn't mean that we are dumb and stupid. Just a bad long term memory.

I had really bad handwriting as well , they thought there was something wrong with me. Thing was I had a reading age( ridiculous concept but they were the ones who were using it) of 5-6 years above my actual age.

In the end they just decided i was bad at spelling and couldn't write neatly. I was the last person to get a pen in my class

Docfeelgood, well thank you, actually I am coming in few months. Now I feel even more welcomed .

My handwriting is the WORST. I don't know, maybe it's genetic because my father has it too, and they are just the same. I also suck balls at drawing. I guess I was just born without those type of artistic abilities.
                      I rule at poetry though!

It is interesting to note that many boys are taught to write at least a year before their hands are physically ready to do so. This leads to some very bad habits and bad experiences, which in turn tend to make a lot of men terrible at writing longhand. I am one of those men btw, I got all A's in school except for handwriting (we called it penmanship back then), where I got a generous C.

I wish to formally file a complaint, but don't know where to start.

                          My reasons:
The requirements for administrative naturalization is an ability to read, write and speak English.

This is a waste of taxpayers money to print so many ballots in so many different languages.
Oh! I want my ballot in catalan ! yes! I just will be american to vote with it.

BTW, who cares the language? The winners sure will be a republican or a democrat.

for a country and a govt to run smoothly, there needs to be a common interface.

you come to america, learn to speak a little english. learn to understand and communicate-- i don't care if you've got grammatical mistakes or a big accent, as long as you can read, write, and speak enough english so as to not require all this translation bs.

i don't care if you speak your own language in your enclaves, or with your families, but the only language the government should need--or use-- is english. one language, one country, one union. simple as that.

most asians are forced to learn english to integrate here... why not latinos as well? why not the rest of those asians too?

The ballots designed by bureaucrat idiots in English are often imcoprehensible; I can only hope that the one printed in spanish make more sense.

How difficult can a ballot be?

isn't it just a list of names
