Before the habit becomes yet another of your small pleasures consigned to the trash can of history in the cause of give and take in the relationship. Oh, and I'd hide the computer, too. The link to this site, in particular.

Welp, I guess if Sneak is hanging from the rafters tomorrow morning, we know who put him up to it....
I hereby absolve myself of all responsibility for any actions Sneak might take. He doesn't have to read my posts.

BTW, it's not a camelia bush. It never was a bush. It was a fully-fledged, bona fide tree. Like about 15' tall. But not anymore.
15 feet tall? You bloody vandal It was about 2 feet tall after you'd "pruned" it. You basically lopped off about 30 years of growth, judging by the plant at my parent's house.
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

A vandal, and proudly so. I also stretched out the lopping process over a couple of weekends. Mrs finbar would appear on the upstairs balcony weekend after weekend to survey the carnage and her sobbing became increasingly hysterical.

Oh yeah - I've had 9 years of that - welcome to the club.

Never done the Mall thing, I guess I have too much Stroke to put up with that crap.
The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits
Instead of cutting it down right away you could just find some way of making it die a "natural" death. When its branches start falling off you can say to the missus "Oh dear, it looks like the tree has died, I think I will have to cut it down.".

I could do that, Caligastia, but I have a mean streak.

Gee, those were my exact words to Mrs finbar when she asked - well, begged - if there was anything she could possibly offer me in order for me to stop butchering the tree.
