It's not the beer, its the fact that you didn't express your want of beer or your enjoyment of beer with proper artistry.
Dom Pedro II - 2nd and last Emperor of the Empire of Brazil (1831 - 1889).

I truly believe that America is the world's second chance. I only hope we get a third...

          My essay:

America? Good for a few laughs.
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

My little quote in my signiture basically sums up what I have to say about America. Well, its not really a quote as I invented it myself.

Btw, what is this supposed to refer to ?

"America shapes the way non-Americans live and think. "

How does America shape the way I live ? How does it shape the way I think ?

Less amount then amount of American aircrafts, but still no so much as you beleive.
                  How many American trucks?
A bigger amount then amount of American planes or tanks, but still not so much as you beleive.
How much American Steel did Russian industry use in defeating the Nazis?
Small amount in compare with amount of Russian steel used to defeat the nazi.
Overall all American help (planes, tanks, steel, trucks etc.) it is 5-7% of resorses used by SU in this war. And 7% is very generous amount.

These supplies came during the crucial hours of 1942 and 43.
1941 was the most dangerous period for us.
I'm not saying that American help wasn't nessesary. It was, IT WAS VERY NESSESARY. And we are gratefull for this help. But you portray it as it was the major factor for our survival. Some might say that we didn't have our own industry and fought with American weapons. This is unacceptable for me.
Not to mention the American destroyers that probably kept Britain in the war in 1941.
                  Say it to Brits.
Yes. I laugh. I laugh so that I should not cry at the ignorance just 60 years after the fact.
I'm doing the same. Can you proove to me that in 1944 Germany wasn't already doomed? Can you proove to me that Nazi still have chances to win this war in 1944? Can you proove me that in case that landing in Normandy never happen the results of war could be different?

How many million people died to defeat that evil? Many times more died than were American.
Many times. The Soviet Union alone lost 27 millions people it's almost 100 times more then American casualities. 100 TIMES MORE. This war is the scar for every Russian family. Almost every family has people who died on this war. That's why we become mad when we hear: "It was USA who won this war".
Why do people feel it necessary to squabble over who deserves the biggest bit of praise? Were it not for Russian determination and American industry, as well as British cussedness the only thing safe to say is that the world would be different today. Count your blessings.
Becouse the biggest bit of praise Americans always took for themselves. Entire generations grow on their movies which portray Americans as the only winners, as the alone saviors of the World. Which portray other people who contributed much for this victory as traitors or as cowards. Look "Save private Rayne", the only coward is a Brit and Americans are super soldiers. IS IT FAIR?

Well, he shot the German who killed his friend, that's true... I didn't think he was British though. He didn't really have a British accent.

If he wanted revenge, he has opportunity to kill this soldier before. They meet face to face with each other several minutes earlier. But at this moment this guy was crying and was absolutely helpless and the German soldier could easily kill him, but he didn't.
This guy killed him later not because of revenge, but because German recognised him and said his name.
He was afraid that he could tell to Americans that this guy didn't fought, that he din't bring ammo to his freinds and that he is the reason why his freinds were killed.

A few laughs? Without us you would be reduced to cracking wise about New Guineau (sp?) or some other place no one in the rest of the world knows much about. Rather than being a fully employed and internationally famous troll you would be reduced to making puns to the feigned amusement of your drunken countrymen. Count your blessing.
