Well, I'd turn his argument on its head. It's not that we're made to feel crappy because we share the same chromosomes with those in power but rather that we identify with those in power who share similar traits. His stat is also a little off. It's probably closer to 1 in 25 men hold positions of authority and power in commerce, politics, and religion. It's even greater if you include the most basic institution of the world, the family unit.

Really!?! Wow, I never knew that. As a white male, I've only had relatively good things happen to me. I generally get the benefit of the doubt. Cops don't harrass me (except that once) even when they're searching every other person on the street, most of the people on TV look lik me, all of the leaders look like me, people respect what I'm saying, and I make **** loads of money when I'm working.
