lol, chegitz. that's not what i mean.

you're right, it's good not to be hassled, etc.

but then again, you get to be blamed for all the ills in the world by pretty much everyone else who needs someone to blame.

If they hate unrinals, I wonder what they think of the troughs in some of the older men's bathroom? You know the ones were everyone lines up.

It makes a genuinely hilarious subject. However we do appear to have people who are taking it seriously.

The sad thing is, if I really thought about it, I probably could.

                  *flexes fingers, cracks knuckles*

Okay, the urinal is oppressive to women by the virture of allowing men to spend less time in the bathroom thereby spending more time working and getting a leg up on their female competition.

Poor Ron you miss a lot, intentionally I think. hummm
You post on these threads and issues and you don't have a clue just opinions which are great and your right. But Ron quit trying to pass yourself off as knowledgable and in the know. Half these laws you had no clue exsisted until the thread went up. Half the proposed laws will stand as the author puts it because some already have. Ron the DNA is real today you must have missed that thread you posted in So it was an example of reality again missed you by a mile.

You are far from it. There is a link to Title IX and a tid bit because Ron you have no clue do you? Reality Ron is something you fail at miserably in this topic.

The underlying law, known as Title IX, may soon be put on trial. Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., has ominously stated that he has "serious concerns" about President Bush's nominee to the federal office responsible for enforcing this law. The nominee, Gerald Reynolds, served as president of the Center for New Black Leadership. Kennedy and his feminist backers have made clear that they believe Reynolds is insufficiently dedicated to Title IX.

Ironically, the current interpretation of Title IX actually violates the law's own language (to say nothing of the Constitution), which forbids gender discrimination in college programs. Cutting men's teams in the name of gender parity is gender discrimination.

Title IX is the only area of law where illegal discrimination is assumed. Any college that deviates from the feminist ideal of how the world ought to look must cut men's teams to come into line. Not only is the burden of proof inverted, but also no evidence of non-discrimination can ever suffice — only forced quotas.

Another example of I have an opinion but do not have a clue. But i will post as if I did:

chegitz guevara:It's probably closer to 1 in 25 men hold positions of authority and power in commerce, politics, and religion. It's even greater if you include the most basic institution of the world, the family unit.

Ok Che it's probably closer to? You have no idea if he is right or not yet you state he is wrong and give your own GUESS instead, misinformation at it's worst. The family unit? Are you still watching leave it to Beaver reruns? That thinking went out in the 60's
You the head of your household Che? On top of that CHE where were all the squealing white men when the laws did get passed.

They refuse to acknowledge all of the good things they have, but if something goes wrong, they're all in arms about it. Get some damn perspective.

Che did you know that is what they used to say to women when they tried to get equal rights same for the blacks? I bet you did not my a full circle we come but now it is misandry.

Yes the quote about Sweden is right. As someone in a thread said "were Sweden goes on social issue the world slowly follows"
“The Communist Manifesto was correct…but…we see the privileges of the capitalist bourgeoisie yielding…to democratic organizations…In my judgment…success lies in a steady [peaceful] advance…[rather]…than in…a catastrophic crash."Eduard Bernstein
                    Or do we?

Scott Adams is a humorist, blackice. He readily admits to making up numbers to support his arguments in his books. 99.999% is a nonsensical number. 1 out of 10,000 men hold positions of power? Ridiculous. What about all the small business holders, middle management, police, local governments, lawyers, doctors, etc.? Very quickly the percentage of men in positions of power and authority rises.

The family unit? Are you still watching leave it to Beaver reruns? That thinking went out in the 60's
You the head of your household Che?

As for the family, while the rise of women's rights has raised the level of input the primary female (if any) has in the household, very few relationships are considered equal. The man still tends to make more money, giving him greater authority over economic decisions, and we still tend to do less work around the house. Furthermore, househusbands are extremely rare, while housewives are not.

In a way, yes, I'm the head of the household. I make the most money, even when I spend most of the year out of work. I get more in unemployment than Bunnygrrl makes at her job. We moved to Florida because of my work situation.

On top of that CHE where were all the squealing white men when the laws did get passed.

Good question, since the laws were all passed by white men.

They refuse to acknowledge all of the good things they have, but if something goes wrong, they're all in arms about it. Get some damn perspective.

You missed the poin about perspective. Having most things go your way because of your gender and occasionally having something go against you isn't the same as being kept down but being told to be thnakful cuz at least you aren't being beaten.

edit: I think the the real reason is that when a woman goes into a unisex restroom and sees that thing on the wall, they feel jelouse that there is something a man can use and they cant. Who knows, men may be jelouse if they ever went into a female restroom. Is there anyone here have the inside scoop on what really goes on in there and what kind of special things they have?
