Yes... I almost got out there instead of Machynlleth. Given that it's completely unstaffed, no one would have been able to tell me that the Aberystwyth train would be delayed 1 hour, which would have led to me panicking and thinking that I'd somehow misread the timetable

      Not a bad meet.

Provost Harrisson and I have decided to go to an Amsterdam meet, at some point. Others were 'considering' joining us.

In the mean time Birmingham appears to be the next UK meet, sometime in the Autumn.

Has Rich suddenly acquired Swedish ancestry?

Amsterdam meeting would be fun, would require some planning quite a bit in advance though... "Apolyton Stoners Meet" perhaps?

Yes. In order to prevent bickering over whether the south or the north is worse, we've decided to hold the next meeting in a place that is universally loathed to ensure fairness.

It'll have to wait until Johan gets back to York in October though, in order to allow him to pop his Virgin Trains cherry, so to speak...

That'll teach me to open my big mouth.

Been to the turd-of-the-world they call Sheffield, and in my brief time there had my car broken into. Remind me to never go back there.

A new car is something I cannot afford at the moment

I never knew you guys have decided to go to Amsterdam. Am I not the first who should be told about that?

                    • Well as you are the first non-attendee of the Saturday meeting, you effectively are the first person to be told, but we have to work on it to get it figured out...

                              • Not only because I'm the only non-attendee, but also because I'm the only non-Brit with a high meeting tendency, which leads to me being the first non-attendee though
