I can say it since we have nothing to hide

Washington Times is a joke and everyone knows it.

Turkey's foreign policy is hostile to Greece.

Meanwhile there is a study contucted by an american university which states that you kill 62 inocent people every day.

So in a straight face I say that this is simply criminal.

It is apparent that you will try to hide your crimes by defamating any sources that point them out.

      quite damning.

        yawn.

        It's war. It's life.

We are not in the right for killing those people, nor are we in the wrong. Is it justified? Who knows.

But why is it that when a wedding is bombed, with 40+ people die, a whole hububb is made, but when in Sudan whole towns are wiped out nobody even knows? Russians in Gronzy? No, Gronzy is 96% gone.

I am always reminded of a quote by Trudeau whenever these threads start up (or the civil lib threads):
"Bleeding hearts dont like to see helmets or guns. Go on and bleed, it's more important we have order"
And when asked how far he would go do to so
        "Just watch me"
Scary, but it seems like a prophecy.

          People with families and children

It is really sad and unerving to see that you do not care about this.

We'll remember that every time you talk about reclaiming Cyprus

(remember, the Turks have been supporting us on this whole Enduring Freedom shtick. We may just give them the rest of Cyprus and even Crete as a goodie )

And you do try to defamate it.

I simply state self evident facts

I think the families of the 62 inocent people you killed every day deserve an apology from you Dino.

Also let us not forget the democracies you have overthrown, the tortures you trained and the dictators you protect inside your country.

But let's stick to you killing 62 incoent people everyday.

How does it make you feel as an american?

As long as we are batting pointless trolls about, how does it make you feel as a Greek that your government sponsors terrorism in Turkey, that Athens International Airport is listed among the most dangerous in the world, etc.?

                  Well,

Athens Airport is certaintly not listed as dangerous at all.

And this is more than I can say about the security of L.A. Airport.

Greece deos not support terrorism in Turkey. But it does support, as Europe does, the rightfull demands of the opressed people of Kurdistan as any civilized country should do

Meanwhile, you did not asnwer me.

How do you feel as an american that your country has killed 62 inocents every day.

What are your sentiments about this?

                    paiktis, two questions:

First, Why was Greece against Nato action in Kosovo?

Second, Do you appreciate America's attempt to keep civilian casualties to a minimum?

                        Ned,

                        1) Greece, as many other countries, including a sizeable portion of the american electorate, was against the NATO bomardment. We believed that a political solution was preferable. And that is why we did not contribute any planes to it.

The fact that the bombardement permited to the Kosovar rebels to create havoc in the Former Yugoslav republic of Macedonia justified our position.

                        2) I dont think the US tries to limit civil casualties when it goes on a bombing spree.

So the killing of 62 inocent civilians every day by your government does not elicit a responce from you.

                          I see.

I think you have a serious want in the department of morality, monneypenny.

You're just mad because you can not answer the question. It shouldn't be that hard for you to answer it given how much credibility you're giving it. So hop to it!

Added to the fact that Greece has been known to engage in the odd persecution of the Albanians as well.

On 1) Where was the pressure coming from to intervene militarily?

On 2) You yourself said we hit a bus we thought was a tank. I think your real point is that we could do "more." These repeated events in Afganistan seems to suggest that there is room for improvement.

I am sure, though, that we will fix whatever is wrong in Afghanistan. If Bush does nothing, he will lose support even here in the US.
