P.S. I can't WAIT until Cloud9 of a Christian Fundie gets a hold of the 'his dark materials' trilogy! The humans have a war with heaven, and the Church is an evil dictatorship that still kills and now abducts children for Nazi-style experiments! Cloud9, PLEASE read them (the first one is called the northern lights or the golden compass), I would very much enjoy hearing your viewpoint on these, another three of my favourites.

while fair books, they are marketed as kids books but I do not consider them appropriate for most elementry school students

I mentioned both names, as it was marketed in the UK as the Northern Lights. It's more of a young adult/adult type book, and here, it was aimed much more at people in second year and above of Secondary Education (about 13 year olds, and then, only really the ones interested in reading would pick it up).
