Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

      Gay parades are aesthetically challenged.

Well, this pride day, Starchild didn't hear back from ANYONE he wanted to go downtown with. So, instead, I opted to spend the day with my family. However, we didn't leave the house until 3:30 when were supposed to leave at noon. So I did zilch today.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. There used to be a child day here. Though only for the youngest child in the family. That was all way before I was born though.

I wonder if the Christians will be out in force chanting, "God hates f4gs..."

              I hope not.

My wife and my sister wanted to go, so I tagged along to the NYC one. I was suprised to see a lot of floats by churches who are accepting of gays. Also there were a lot of political floats. Has anyone ever seen a right-wing gay float in one of these parades?

It would be very rare to see a right-wing float in a gay pride parade. Hate mongers are more prevelant on the right and usually gay people tend to not be hate mongers.

There are quite a few right-wing gays/bis on Apolyton.

People shouldn't confuse right-wing with hardcore religious whackos who happen to be right wing.

This year's Pride Parade seems ALOT more political than past parades. There were quite a few political floats interspersed thuoghout the parade. I too was also surprised at the number of gay-friendly religious floats in the parade.

I didn't go this year. Was just too hung over.

I made it a gay evening though by going to the movies with a cadre of gay friends. Unfortunately, I was vetoed on seeing Bourne Identity and was instead subjected to Scooby Doo. Horrific.

Thanks, I had never heard of them before.

I only saw the end of the parade which was mainly political and religious floats. The only thing I saw which utterly disgusted me was a couple of gay porn stars practically naked on top of a van. ugh!

Some other people were also wearing very little, but most of them I laughed at. Why do the most ugly people get the most naked?
