For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

a good game, a clean game (a bit rough), and of all teams to lose to, i guess the germans aren't so bad (they are the next hosts, after all, and they have a chance for tying brazil in wc victories, so~)

but the koreans did well. i'm still happy with them.

He had a little argument with paiktis22, the usual stuff.

Ecthelion, if you are lurking (and I know you do), this one is for you: (We both didn't think it will happen... Go Rudi!)

EDIT - LaRusso: Sorry I haven't seen her, I made it so so to the game from work, even missed the first 5 minutes.

What, opera singers can't be beautiful? I know some gorgeous ones (not, of course, including myself... )

Some of us could complain about how Meier helped the Germans, particularly Linke should have been given a red. Klose should have gotten a yellow for diving, the other German player did.

                          But we don't.

As much as I wanted Korea to win, I'm still happy, and I hope Germany kicks Brazil's ass in the final.
