Gayness is a natural thing that develops subconsciously at an early age, and can't be controlled. Thus it would be ridiculous to be prejudiced against gays, just as it would be ridiculous to be prejudiced against blacks, or left-handers.
Frankly, I'm awaiting the day when labels like "heterosexual" and "homosexual" totally drop away, in favour of a more open society where things like sexuality don't matter at all. Just like ancient Greece (or so I've heard).
The thing I don't get is, why should sexual preference matter any more than, say, if you like Coke or Pepsi?Poor silly humans.
