  • World Cup 2002 - A crappy story...

    Korean who?

For god's sake, despite the fact that Korea is a good team indeed, did she deserved to pass to the semi-finals?

Why the hell were those two clear goals of Spain cancelled?

It seems that history repeates itself. After Portugal and Italy now Spain fell into tragic refereeing.

    Just read the referees below

    Head Referee: Egypt
    Assistant Referee: Uganda
    Assistant Referee: Trinidad
    Fourth Official: Quwait

BTW, I have never seen in my life any referee whistling the end of a game in a corner

    Pathetic

Neither Spain nor Korea was good enough to win that game.

As for the corner I do think the rules say that there's no added time in extra time.

Have you seen it in action?

And what make you think that Spain didn't deserve to win? Her two canceled goals?

You obviously don't know the laws of the game, then. There is no added time in extra time unless there is a penalty, in addition to which, the final whistle has been blown as the corner kick was in the air before.

I'm really getting sick of all these people moaning about the referee because their team lost. Your team could still have won.

Well, the fact that they didn't play that well against Korea or Ireland would certainly indicate that they didn't deserve to win, yes.

I saw the game and was angered by the spanish players lack of will. They didn't move enough and didn't take any responsiblity during most of the game.

I won't say that Korea was the better team ... both sides sucked for a good part of it. Spain's ball off the post could easily have gone in.

Instead, YOUR guy blew his penalty kick. Oh, and Korea's will to keep fighting had NOTHING to do with their win, right?

Of course, if you look closely, the ref was blowing him a kiss just before he shot. LOL!!

Who told you that Spain is my team?

I am sorry if I don't like seeing better teams losing because her two goals were canceled.

Well, the complaining would suggest a certain Spanish solidarity, no?

So I guess the two clear goals isn't an indication to you that a team diserves to win? Interesting indeed...

under the new fifa rules, if you dont play good enough to score three goals, you dont deserve to win

basically, the most likely team to win starts with -2 handicap in order to make things more exciting

That doesn't mean they played well.

Of course, your previous posts are telling me that you don't watch much football, don't know the laws of the game...

And the King of Excuses comes in to play. I would have thought he'd be too busy still making excuses for buggy software and inferior game developers. Same line of work, though.

another fifa rule: if you're not really playing good, your goals dont count
