I thought both teams played good defense and lacked a finishing touch around the net . .
I thought the referee was both good and fair . . . he let a lot of stuff go on both sides . . . unlike the parades of red and yellow cards I have seen in other gamesYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

I find it kind difficult that the above referees qualify for that possition...

if you feel so strong about it, i'd love to see a comparison of how many international matches a UAE ref has played this year versus a european ref playing in CLCo-Founder, Apolyton Civilization Site

Yes, I have. I remember one very clearly, a few years ago, when either Wimbledon or Crystal Palace were playing (it was at Selhurst Park), when the corner was taken and before it reached the penalty box the final whistle was blown. There have been others since then, but that stuck in my head.
It might be in the rules but it is common practice leaving such phases to continue.

To some of these sore losers, rules don't matter. A waning European delusion of grandeur, however, seems unbearable.I've been on these boards for a long time and I still don't know what to think when it comes to you -- FrantzX, December 21, 2001
