      Stefu, you don't get killed. You get disassembled. Though really, what's the solution? They obviously can't create a copy, they need to move the existing Stefu.

              yes, but even EM fields can be transported when a Laser can (it's not that far a step anyway), so it wouldn't even be a problem.

              BTW, we can also test the thing with mice before using it on Stefu. And we can always use it on Stefu and Eli before using it on human beings.

                But, at a small moment, there will be no Stefu - he's disassembled, and in a few nanoseconds, assembled again. I wouldn't like to travel with being killed 10 times a day.

                  I think science fiction is a primary mover in our scientific endevours, or maybe a guide.

                  Maybe this wasn't the case in the past, but now that the next generation of scienists have been influnenced by sci-fi, I believe it is the case.
