Oh well, first off both SAP and VP do have a change to republic on their program. Even if that don't mean **** for SAP I do belive that the majority of VP-voters are against or neutral to the monarcy. Futher, IIRC, VP do make a motion every year for the introduction of a republic even if it's more of a symbolic gesture as their's no support for it in the parlament.Originally posted by moominparatrooper

Krop, you are right about that still being the official party-line, but I somehow doubt most vp's would go for it. I saw a program about a bunch of guys up in Malmfältet (hard-core Norrskensflamman readers and all) who were deploring how vp had gone soft with a homosexual agenda instead of doing good old-fashined class struggle, but the thing I recall was when the reporter asked them about the King.
