What, you don't know Waltari? Bad Snapcase, bad!

      Hmm, Finns Aivo's forgotten:

      Urho Kekkonen
Matti Nykänen (And don't we all wish we could forget him?)
      Renny Harlin
      Lasse Virén
      Otto Wille Kuusinen
      Tarja Turunen
      Jorma Ollila

Aivo and the couple of us Finns who helped with the list in chat did not forget them... we just had to cut them out, otherwise we would of needed three polls instead of one.
Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

We could have easily taken at least Larry Thorne away, probably also Ahtisaari (replace him with KEKKONEN! )

Sibelius was all I knew on the list, but he's enough.

HOW COULD YOU NEGLECT MARTTI TALVELA????

Outside of Sibelius, he is Finland's best musical export. A brilliant singer with an all-too-short career.

                    Oh yes. Juhan af Grann.

How could you have so cruelly forgotten our pre-eminent bozo, Aivo½o? No, not you, I mean Grann!

Juhan af Grann? He's not Finnish. He's... from Latvia (or our neighbouring galaxy, if you would ask him... in Latvia). That's right. Latvia, that little Baltic country that won the Eurovision song contest. Finnish? Hah! Never! No way, José.

I was abducted once, by blue space-men flying in small UFOs with bright blue flashing lights...

I had a major time and memory loss - I woke up at the local police station and they said I'd been wandering around senseless.

Hmm, I know a lot more Danes than Finns. Sibelius & Torvalds are good, but who are all these other people? Ugh!
