If you haven't already, click on Thue's link - they actually claim Peter Jackson named the movie "The Two Towers" of his own volition to (of course) refer to 9/11.

The level of denial in some ppl's minds is just staggering.

And for every "signature", there are fifty odd who congratulate the author on such a fine example of trolling, before they laugh at their idiocy.

Personally, I like the author's entry best. It says so much about him:

Why are you people getting irate about this petition? There are a few simple facts here: (1) The sequeal was only completed recently. Movie studios dont make movies unless they thing they're make money off them; (2) Mr. Jackson named the sequal "The Two Towers" to capitalize on the 9/11 tragedy. (3) All this ranting about some "JR Tolkein" has nothing to do with the movie--they are only similarly named. If you have something to say to me, say it directly. Sarcasm is hard to judge in text. I thought you would be one of the people on the board most likely to have read the book, but I did think, for a moment, that were serious. I just wanted to be sure.
