) about how comfortable thongs were. The girls who had never worn one seemed to think they were uncomfortable ("wedgie" got mentionned more than once). The ones who did had a different view of things. They agreed that thongs could be uncomfortable but that they could also be comfortable if you got one that fit properly. They also argued that since girls' underwear always seemed to "ride up there anyway" you might as well just accept it and reduce the amount of fabric that could go "up there". 
(which, I'm told, weren't all that comfortable either).
