I don't like to look at porn myself, but I'm not dead-set against its existance either. My reasons for not indulging in it myself are my own, and have nothing to do with religion of any sort.

How can it be evil, as certain religious groups say? So long as the person posing gave the cameraman permission to photograph/film them, or they chose to work at their strip club, then nobody is being hurt by it.

Better that a guy masturbate while looking at porn than to be out in some dark alley waiting to 'pounce' on the first woman to pass by.

Such filth. It is so degrading I cannot even fathom why one would do such a thing. Strange world we live in. Women in that country still have some problems. I think even in the U.S. women are coerced into going into porn. Terribble. Do they have free will? Well they should. But lack of self esteem makes things worse. This will only change as society changes and respects women more than they do now. Whether this will happen or not I do not know.

I'm very in favor of women's rights and I adhere to a number of pro-female ideas that have alienated me from most other men... but the fact is that there is nothing wrong with pornography. We all have urges that need to be satisfied, and if it is objectifying women with pictures and videos, it is still objectifying them if we imagine them in our heads. Only in our heads, they have not been filmed or photographed some place else... and why shouldn't they be if they consent to it?
