    well asher . . . if you don't want to go out with anyone, you shouldn't. But I have seen a number of posters bemoan their single and/or virgin status and it seemed that the starter of this thread was one of them. If someone is happy single they should stay that way but if they want to change their circumstance . . . well they have to do something other than cry in their beer

              Yup.

              And I can have fun without alcohol - when I go out, I'm rarely drunk. Usually I only get truly drunk at parties with friends.

                You can have fun without alcohol, it's just more fun and different types of fun with alcohol right?
