Of course you make it, so you make it anyway you like

but be prepared to take some heat since you want it to reach other markets than just yours

I think that noone would question where spiderman is from but primarely noone would care to do so.
    anyway

Hey Chris or Markos or whoever I have an idea:

you know in Japan they censor the "disputed areas" in comics. (Like the genitalia etc) .

They paint a black square or something on top of them.

I propose this for Europe. Whenever there is something american in comics, we draw a black square on top of it (be that flag or whatever)

(just a silly little joke )

Stop obbcessing on the USA, it really looks insane. (except to some people who also suffer from this)
this is true, spidey was a cold war comic for quite a bit

and i loathe the capitilization of the tragedy that claimed my father, (eg "WTC Coin Collection, $1 of the $20 you send us goes to the families") but thats not the case with spiderman. that flag at the end could not have bumed up sales, who would watch the movie for the flag at the end? jesus. it's just the creators of the movie/comic expressing their feelings of patriotism in a medium they work in, and if you want to rant about it markos, then f- your country.

To be honest, I was never a fan of Spiderman to start with. It's just a little annoying at the nit picking.

AH! But that was also my idea when we were discussing the Spiderman ad here in Apolyton

Let patriotism be for Captain America Give Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar

                  Heh.

The only reason Mark is complaining is 'cause the flag was an obvious tacked-on afterthought, and he doesn't know jack **** about Spiderman.

I think a Captain America movie would suck, but that may be my bias towards the X-Men creeping in.

Spidey is the story of a typical American teen nerd who gets superpowers.

Sorry Paiktis, can't escape the American part.

actually, it is natural for Captain America to carry the flag!
