It's an incredible place. Honest. But I was also being honest about the 51st state remark. Some companies only have a CA HQ to appease opinion. Others are blatant about running Canada marketing out of the US.

(90% of CA lives within 100 miles of US border.)

I know. That's part of what's caused an upswing in the number of companies trying to promote themselves as truly Canadian. Nationalism's a growth indutry up here, for the first time since the 70s...

Can't we just diploannex a few countries? Israel can remain as a vassal since they'll have nationalism bug, and they're pretty poor, but the canadianp rovinces have a high tax value. Also, let's force vassalize Cuba and RM a few European nations to raise our standing in the world.
