        Damn straight there, Sik.

And to think that people are worried about the economy in Michigan... in a few decades, this might become the most important place in the world.

So y'all better start kissing my pasty white ass right now.

Just mentioning the Confederation Bridge that was just finished. Price of PEI went a long way up because of that...

Seriously though - we could trade Southern Cal, Texas and Florida to Mexico for a couple of players to be named later, and give Arizona to Israel

-Candian money being the monopoly money that it is, the population should be easy to pacify.

                  Cons:
-none, really. Just lack of industry.
Historical claim? I've lived here all my life and never heard of you Yanks claiming this land - jeez, most of the Loyalists fled here after you kicked 'em out in the late 1700s, they don't really wanna go back . (My family emigrated from Ireland way back when, so I don't think I've got Loyalist roots...)

Add to "Cons": 1/3 of population is francophone .

And we've got the largest oil refinery in North America, so shove that "lack of industry" .

Parts of New Brunsuick were claimed by the US in the 18th and 19th Centuries. Parts of Maine were claimed by the Brits. We made a treaty which split the difference. Then Britain pulled out the maps which said the US was right, and France pulled out the maps that said Britain was right., but we're not talking a hell of a lot of important land here.

In the late '80s, the US did try and purchase a land corridor through BC, in order to build an oil pipeline. Canada, obviously, said no.

Why not just make Canada and Mexico an offer they can't refuse?
