Nope, you really do change after your first love

No you don't. You only think that until you dump her. Then you become extremely jaded. That's where I am now. I can't feel anything.

WhiteElephants: I hope you weren't adressing ME with that little schpiel. Because by careful thought, and epiphanies, I have reduced my "get over it" time from months to minutes.

Nope. My first real "love" (adolescent silliness) was about 4-5 years ago. I think my feelings for her had more to do with the fact that she was the first girl I'd ****ed.

              My current gf? Fine.

That ex I referred to? She's a crazy ***** who started dating a guy who lives 100 metres from my house so she'd have an excuse to visit me.

Easy mad dog. You were one of the few who actually seemed to have a grip on things.

Ok, you can be the exception .

Basically, my postulate, is when you have your first love, you begin to mature. You actually think about someone else's happiness, etc (if you don't they ain't your first love, bub). The other significant maturation seems to be the first child (if that ever happens), because then you are responsible for someone else.

Of course there are always ****ups and *******s that will never mature.
