Sociobiolgy has been disproven over and over again. Every time it reasrs it's racist head, it claims to have "new" evidence, but it's always just rehashing the same old arguments and flawed studies. There's nothing new here.

Unfortunately, just leaving it at that isn't good enough, because there are those that would like to use this quackery as a reason to abolish Affirmative Action and welfare and any number of other remedial programs designed to overcome the effects of racism. Without ruthlessly destroying this BS everytime it rears its head, it will start to be claimed that differences between groups is a result of inherent differences, not racism, and that any attempts to destroy the effects of racism are doomed to failure, because, to paraphrase the SUpreme Court in Plessy v Ferguson, man cannot undo what nature has made so.

Maybe you'd like to tell me about how phrenology (reading head bumps) is very accurate at reading personalities. Or how about the healing powers of radium water? Copper braclets? Healing magnets? It's all the same junk science, and it's all about trying to pull a fast one on people.

Do you have any evidence for this? In particular, a study sampling Aboriginies not accustomed to the traditional Aboriginal way of life and culture?

the study was done on nursery school children ( it was american) the point they made was that it had to be genetic.

quick question. NFL.... can any East Asain players over 250lbs can run 100 metres in under 10.5 secs. if not, why not?

I'll bet that I could make a study just using nusery school children of immigrants that shows that immigrants have a natural aptitude for learning multiple languages. Granted, all I'm going is on what you're telling me, but it seems to me that they did not sufficiently account for environmental differences that would easily account for differences.

We have a different diet than East Asians. That is why we are larger and heavier. It's not genetic. Heck, I'm not sure most men anywhere on the planet can over 250lbs can run 100 meters in 10.5 seconds. I could barely do it when I was 150 lbs.

That's an issue of ratio of fast twitch to slow twitch muscle fiber (which IS genetic, with no clear difference in distribution by race) combined with diet, focused strength training with sprint speed as a goal, and inclination. None of those are genetic factors.

I really can't believe that, in this day and age, it still matters to some people.
