I like the spanish language , despite the fact I don't know it. it has one great quality. each letter means exactly the same sound every time. not like in english.

YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING. I'm NOT DISPUTING that SPANISH PEOPLE WRITE BOOKS however I do have a major beef with anyone who claims that THEY WRITE GOOD BOOKS. Classics, like ol Homer used to crank out, are TOTALLY ABSENT from the Spanish COMMUNITY OF LITERATURE. And that's mainly BECAUSE THE LANGUAGE IS CRAP.

And I'm sorry if you were offended by that. But it's true. MrWhere, if you're really into drinking so damn much before you go to sleep like that, get some help.

Erhm, erhm.... Spanish Literature is a **** load better than english literature, in my opinion. And Spanish authors right good books.

And I'm sorry if you were offended by me calling your language useless. But it is. And MrWhere, if you're really into drinking so damn much before you go to sleep like that, get some help.
And you are racist ******* who has no appreciate towards anybody different than you. You are almost nazi like. I think you better examine the facts before saying something utterly and completely stupid.

Of course, I'd say that so-called classics such as Shakespeare and Homer, etc., are **** compared to modern novels and such. Just my nekulturny opinion though

It's "Write" not "Right", Gianny. Anyway, gimme one Spanish book you consider a classic for the ages. Right now.

Your grammar is horrible. Maybe that explains your hatred of the English language, I dunno.

Fine, insert some famous English writer. Shakespeare is the only one I can name unless we are talking political philosophy.

And your grammar is horrible too. You can't even make complete sentences before screwing up.

I am not aruging that the Spanish language is superior to the English one due to it's literature. You are. By that logic French is superior to English.

and we don't want that to happen , right?

I thought your excuse last time was that you had just typed a long report and as a result your hands were painfully tired?! WHERE DOES IT END, GIANCARLO? WHEN DO YOU DRAW THE LINE?

Anyway, NAME A SPANISH CLASSIC WORK OF LITERATURE RIGHT HERE AND NOW.

                      Edit: Spelling.

I'd also like to point out that MrWhere also has some English grammar problems.

My point is that EVERYONE would do well to learn other ways of expression, and the only reason I singled out America is because
That's from a little earlier in this thread. Reasons cannot be "because...", Reasons can pretty much only be "that...". To any native or decent English speaker, that should at least have raised a red flag.

That's not relevant in casual conversation, however in a thread like this it's important to note that my opposition probably doesn't have much of a handle on the language at all, and therefore doesn't know nearly enough about it to put together a strong arguement against it.

On a related note, apparently Giancarlo has run off to read a few Spanish fables or something. Oh wait.
