what I mean is , that you use lot's of quotes. They maybe taken as true arguements, or maybe taken out of context. Since the site is obviously biased, I don't think I should trust them.

Go study the Kingdom of Israel and the spread of Islam.

The Roman world wasn't all that bad either. Anyone could be a Roman citizen, and despite what you might hear about persecution, you could practice your own religion, to an extent. The reason Christians and Jews were persecuted was because they didn't want to be part of Roman society. In Roman society, there were many Christians and Jews who lived for hundreds of years.

Comrade Dalgetti, everything is biased one way or the other. Which facts you trust are dependent on what you believe in, ie zionists tend to believe zionist facts and anti-zionists tend to believe anti-zionist facts.

I´m courious about one thing however, you seem to be a hardline defender of Israel. Do you also consider yourself a zionist? ´cause in that case I can´t understand how you at the same time can consider yourself a communist?

What I really fail to understand is that half-bred logic that most of my fellow communist follow. Is it the result of the soviet political line in the region, that was taken due to the fact that Israel has decided to ally itself with US? could be.

So now we see supposed communists/rad. socialists supporting Saddam , and crying wolf in the wrong places. I say that despite the fact that I am opposed to capitalism, the 'western' democracy is still closer to me than anything in Islam.

I don't like Islam. I find it oppressive to women. and well actually everyone. So aligning oneself with Islamic organizations ,is shooting ourselves in the foot in the long run, and the long run isn't that far away.

at least western democracies are open and don't suppress half of the population ( women).

You say 'clash of civs' rubbish. I say it will happen sooner or later, unless Islam is defeated.

note: not even one word is said about killing anyone. If we could just explain to people , esp. the younger generation , the alternatives, and allow women to make choices , that would be better.

how can you defend a way of thought that says it is ok to kill a woman if she slept with someone before the marriage.

There are all sorts of ways to conduct this argument. Both sides have good points; you could, conceivably, make some of those points.

To elaborate a bit on Dalgettis point I would like to say that I have the same experience (not being a commie myself though. Well maybe from an american viewpoint but that makes pretty much everyone into a commie ). The leftist movement od the '68 generation that was very active in Sweden in the early parts of the 70's also rallied on the palestinian side as a people oppressed by the henchmen of the imperialist superpower.

This is a line that goes between the right and left stil. it's of cource a bit of a historical irony since the right just a generation or two earlier where very pro-german while the left of a generation before where much more pro-zionism beacuse of its socialistic tendencies.
