Mobius, are you realizing that you traveled over 3,000 miles, and yet you can only point to a few instances?

Actually it’s more like 8500+ miles overland and counting and you call that just a few!!? At times for example in NYC it felt like there were more Police and NG on duty than there were civilians walking the street! I could give PLENTY more examples if you want by individually listing my ‘police state’ encounters instead of generalising them – but it would take me far too long!

I have yet to see a single person armed with an automatic on my occasional flights around the US.

Let’s see, JFK, Newark, Baltimore, SFO, and even f***ing Kahului (Maui) airports had armed guards with machineguns! It could be that you don’t get out much…?

MOBIUS, that's not true. Mississippi, or at least the areas of the state I've lived in, has no such curfews and I've never heard of any part of the state having them.

And that’s where you’re both wrong – as far as I can tell there is a STATEWIDE curfew on minors (those aged less than 18 from 11pm to 5:00am), certainly in Biloxi anyway…

Imagine that – it’s house arrest, an abuse of civil liberties! I was in a full time job when I was sixteen, I acted and behaved as an adult and certainly wasn’t going to be home by 11pm!!!

Most of you seem of operate on the 'ignorance is bliss' philosophy - just because it may not have happened to YOU doesn't mean it's not happening to other people in the next neighbourhood!

Your's is a huge country - imagine how much could be hidden from your eyes with very little effort, especially if you continue to exhibit these tendencies for complacency about your civil liberties...

Proof?

Edit: 4 cities in the whole state with curfews do not a Statewide curfew make.

PS I just thought that I would add that the curfew according to my research affects people with jobs in the slightest degree. It's meant as a tool to curb youth gang violence.

There was no War of Northern Agression in the history of the United States. There was the Civil War though.
