China has begun an invasion of Taiwan. It is quite clear that after many casualties on both sides the Chinese mainland will eventually gain control the island, if there is no interference. Oddly enough, the US is looking the other way. When questioned by the media over the America's lack of actions, President Bush shrugs, "I don't want it to turn into another Vietnam."
So my question to you is, how should Europe (or any other nations for that matter) respond?
I have deliberately taken the US out of the picture to remove any anti- or pro-US bias, as it is such a sensitive issue for some of you. In fact, anyone who mentions the US will be replied with either "Hated-filled brat" or "Bush's bltch" depending on the context.
