One bit of advice for wiggy when he's interviewing for a new job.
DON"T BE YOURSELF
pretend to be someone normal.

RIP Tony Bogey & Baron O
except for the fact that everyone call him glonk every so often. even i know about his old name and wiglaf could always claim that he lurked on the forums for a while before he registered. gonna have to try harder than that gasmaske
People should choose their work based on moral principles. Being a professional soldier or a cop is one of the most immoral things to be. It is also an easy solution for those who don't want to try a little bit more to actually contribute something to society.
To GP, Sprayber, and other professional soldiers: I'm sorry for what I have to say, but do you REALLY enjoy working for those bastards? Wouldn't you rather work for someone who doesn't kill and destroy stuff around the planet every single day?
Anyway, what are you going to do now Wiggie? Live on welfare?

I can see how Axi might think that soldiering is immoral (not withstanding the fact that if you don't have them, someone really immoral will soon make you wish you had them), but cops?
“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”
Come on people, there's no reason to get personal now. If you pull all this crap what makes you different from those you dispise?
Awww
So Wiggy, what was your last job, what skills do you have, and how old are you?
If you've really got to know, I worked for a local paper. I'm 19 and looking for general suggestions for a summer job.
OK guys... enough with the personal insults. Granted, he should have expected it when he started this thread, but that's no excuse to dump all over him...
Awww
And connor, thanks for the tip but I don't really like swimming. Nor do I like lifeguards but that's another story entirely.
I was a lifeguard, it was awesome, get in the chair, check out chicks, get down from the chair, smoke a blunt, repeat until eight o'clock.
Axi just doesn't like the military because he lives in a crappy country where his military can't even keep the Turks from overrunning Cyprus. If he were an American, and could actually feel pride in his armed forces, his attitude would be different.
I heard Burger King is having openings... (J/K) Sorry Ming, that just sorta came out...
Seriously, if you know enough about computers, get a job as a computer repairs person... good pay.

How true. Did you know the average Greek Navy ship is 35 Years old but they finally are upgrading them? While the average Turkish Navy ship is 10-20 years old, and their navy is about twice the size of the Greek Navy. Sorry, Axi it is true. Plus the Turkish Airforce is also twice the size of that of Greek's?
I actually dislike the military for a different reason... I am too skinny and wouldn't last. There I admitted it... I probably get myself beaten up the first day.
SO I probably will become a bureaucrat.

if you think you're tough enough, get a job at UPS, they are ALWAYS hiring. the only problem is that you'll probably be working nights doing brutal work. but the pays pretty good, (7.50) and if you take an exam, you can get $8.50 an hour. plus, some UPS plants will pay for any summer school you want to take just be ready to give up any night life, night shift starts at 10:45pm and ends somewhere around 3am
Are you just looking for something temporary or something permanent?

Actually in Australia, its the opposite way around.
Our soldiers are in East Timor, protecting their fledgling government as they rebuild their country, generally helping others and such.
OTOH our cops are corrupt. Sure, not all of them, but enough to give them a reputation.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).
